This Privacy Policy explains how Kavarg Labs Private Limited ("AgrinX", "we") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use the AgrinX Platform, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other Indian laws. AgrinX is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

1. Summary

• We collect only what we need to run the marketplace: your mobile number, the listings you post, and limited technical data.
• Your listing's contact name and phone number are public so buyers can call or WhatsApp you.
• Your location is used only if you choose to share it, and is rounded to about 1 km before it is saved.
• We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising based on it.
• You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent, at any time.

2. Data we collect

We do not knowingly collect data about children. The Platform is for users aged 18 or over.

3. Legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you sign in and post on the Platform, and for legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, such as complying with law, responding to legal requests, and preventing fraud. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 8); this does not affect processing done before withdrawal.

4. How we use your data

• to run your account and verify your phone number;
• to publish, review and moderate listings, and to show nearby listings;
• to process paid services and send receipts;
• to send service messages, such as OTPs, listing approvals and plan reminders (you can turn off non-essential messages);
• to detect and prevent spam, fraud and misuse, and to enforce our Terms of Use;
• to understand how the Platform is used, in aggregated form, and to improve it;
• to comply with law and respond to valid requests from authorities.

5. Who we share data with

• The public: listing content, including the contact name and number on the listing, your seller name, district and badges.
• Service providers (Data Processors) who work for us under contract and only on our instructions:

• Authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
• Business transfer: if AgrinX is merged or acquired, data may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Where data is stored

Data is stored on servers of our service providers, which may be located in India or abroad. Any transfer outside India is made in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

7. How long we keep data

• Account data: while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, listings, photos and videos.
• Closed or sold listings: kept on your account until you delete them or your account.
• Payment and invoice records: kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws (generally 8 years), with only the details needed.
• Technical logs: usually up to 90 days, longer only when needed to investigate fraud or security issues.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct, complete or update your data (listings can be marked sold or deleted from My listings; for other details, contact us);
• ask us to erase your data and close your account;
• withdraw consent (this may mean we can no longer provide the service);
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity;
• have your grievances addressed by our Grievance Officer and, if unresolved, approach the Data Protection Board of India.

To use these rights, write to admin@kavarglabs.com from the context of your account (include your registered mobile number). We may need to verify your identity before acting.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use only essential cookies and similar storage: to keep you signed in, to remember your language, and to remember choices such as dismissing the "install app" banner. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear these in your browser settings, but you may then need to sign in again.

10. Security

We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our database, and OTP-based sign-in. No system is fully secure; if a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board as required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; we will notify you of significant changes on the Platform or by SMS.
